This piece was produced by Maghan Baptiste, one of the practitioners of the third edition of PRAXIS, a three month program that “aims to instigate a theoretical and practice–based learning process and looks at the systems that constitute our material and immaterial lives.”  I was invited into the process for this final performance piece as an editor of the video.

“A moving meditation that takes place in and around one of the spaces I felt most pulled to in Santander. The terrace of the Filmoteca created an opportunity to experiment with several angles, encouraged repetition, and invited me to play with a variety of speeds. Moving in this contained space, with the witness of the camera, felt very vulnerable and challenged my desire to stay connected and embodied, while being acutely observed.”
